Hello, sorry it has taken me so long to get back to this site. I have been so busy since I have been home! Today is my first chance to relax and read, play on the computer, etc. I had a wonderful visit to to the flatlands of the USA, Kansas...Dodge City, to be more specific. This is where my brother lives, with his wife and their new baby girl, Gaby. It was great to see them, but the best part was getting to hang out all day with my niece. She is such a good baby; it just amazed me. They are very blessed.

Gaby was the perfect 3-month-old. She is on a schedule that you can set your watch to, very interactive, likes to just hang out and watch what is going on around her. She has a lot of Bob's laid-back personality. She does great on the floor, both on belly and back. I started propping her up with pillow so that she could look at the world from the sitting-up angle. She did great!! It was amazing to see how much she grew just in those short two weeks. I messed up Bob's routine with her though, well, I didn't really...she just grew. He used to sit with her lying on his chest, content to hear his breathing and just lay on her daddy. Well, that position doesn't cut it for her anymore. She has to sit up and be part of everything now. Good growth, I tell him, but he liked those moments with her, and I had to tell him that they will be few and far between as our children grow.

My niece has bright eyes that see it all. She smiles, laughs, and doesn't sleep when Bob and Laura get home. It is like she can sense that they have walked through the door from all the way down the hall from her crib. It was also difficult to take pictures of her because she was in constant motion, starting to reach for something or a wobble of the head. Most of the pictures i took are a blur.
It was great!! I cried at the airport when we parted ways. Gaby Girl, your Tia loves you!!!

Bye for now. Talk to you again soon...
